Prather Ranch in the Ferry Building has great meat. And there’s always Niman Ranch at the Sat AM farmer’s mkt, too. And Golden Gate Meat Co. is also in the Ferry Bldg.

An update on my own leaf lard search. Tried Boulette’s Larder, Prather Ranch and Golden Gate Meats with no luck. If anyone turns up any in SF, I’d love to hear.

Prather Ranch (in the Ferry Building) sells heritage pork, including Berkshire. They are certainly not afraid of fat. Their pork and beef is always excellent (but not cheap).
